SolHaven Birth Center is a midwife-led birth center and home birth practice now welcoming families across southern Minnesota. We are a smaller, more personal practice, built on the same trusted midwifery model of care that families have chosen for years, where you will be cared for by a team you will know and trust well before your baby arrives.
At SolHaven Birth Center, we believe every family deserves care rooted in relationship, compassion, and trust. Inspired by the hope of each sunrise and the promise of new beginnings, we walk alongside families as they welcome new life.
Familiar Faces
Many of the faces here will feel familiar. Taylor Matakis and Emily Parks, both well-loved midwives from the New Birth team, are caring for families at SolHaven. Born from the trusted legacy of New Birth Midwifery, SolHaven is stepping into its own chapter while remaining a sister birth center. We are honored to carry the same relationship-centered approach to care into our new home on the Southern Minnesota prairie.
What We Offer
Prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum care, with both birth center and home birth options, offered in a warm, welcoming environment inspired by the southern Minnesota prairie and the community we are honored to serve.
